I think sports really should be a daily bread for all. If we could not do sports at all, I think it would be a real shame. But what can we do to be able to play good sports as well? Of course, you have to eat a healthy diet, not an especially healthy diet, but at least a diet suitable for athletes. Also, when I was in elementary school, I was a competitive swimmer and I really enjoyed competitive swimming.
It was really perfect. And I was a really good swimmer. Later, when I stopped swimming, my mother was very hurt and unhappy. But I stopped swimming because I fell in love. My partner also played baseball, but not competitively, and I fell completely in love with him and forgot about high school and most of my swimming after that. I completely stepped away from swimming, but luckily I was able to graduate from high school after that. My mother did not like it and did not approve of our love at all.
My mother did not approve of our relationship, but in hindsight, I do not blame her at all. Because if my daughter had done that, if she had chosen such a foolish love over sports or school, I would have been really angry. We adults already know that there is no such thing as 16 year old love, 16 year olds are still kids and relationships like this rarely last. So I feel sorry for 16 year olds who have to sacrifice school and sports. For myself, if I could go back in time, I would definitely not quit the sport and continue swimming.
